Parent's Spiritual Partnership
Congratulations on becoming a member of our church family! At our church, we ask all parents who are members to serve in the AFMVC Kids' Ministry parent rotation on a quarterly schedule (total of 3 months out of the year). This fits our Children Ministry's vision of having parents directly involved in their children's spiritual growth. Our desire is that parents will be the primary disciplers of their own children as Scripture calls them to be. Thus, we would love for you to join us in our vision. Because we believe that parents are called to be directly involved in their own child's spiritual lives, we have decided that our parents will serve in their child's room once every four months for an entire month.
PARENT ROTATION4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. 5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
A background check is required for all volunteers working with our children. Please fill out the form completely and return it to Pastor Chae via e-mail or place in his church mailbox located underneath the main stairway.

By combining the critical influences of the divine nature of the church (royal blue – Numbers 15:38-40) and the love of the family and the blood of Christ (red), we get gold, which signifies the value of the next generation who will dare to live for Christ. Thus, Church + Home = 2 Greatest Influences in a child's life.
